Privacy and advertising choices

Planting Date Finder publishes climate and planting information. A ZIP lookup runs in your browser. Email is the way to reach us.

What we receive

If you email hello@plantingdatefinder.com, we receive the address you wrote from and the message you sent, so we can reply. The service that hosts the site may keep ordinary server logs: IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Those logs are used to operate and protect the site.

Advertising and cookies

Pages include Google AdSense. Google may set or read cookies and use device identifiers to show ads and to measure them. Google describes that use in its advertising technologies policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. A common advertising cookie from this program is named IDE, on the doubleclick.net domain. Google and the advertisers bidding to show an ad may use other cookies as well. Sale of personal information

We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies can count as a “share” or “sale” under some state privacy laws. The opt-out links above are the controls for that advertising. Privacy questions can go to hello@plantingdatefinder.com.

Children

The site is written for adult gardeners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
